This not a real ad.

I'm using quite a lot of pictures here, on Flickr! and my photo page [1]. With my camera I use 1600x1200** as the standard setting, which is way too good for web use only. Manually resizing them is too much work I concluded.

I've seen many discussions on usenet about batch processing pics. A lot of the tools that were mentioned I tried, but I can't get them to work the way I want or at least it's not a simple job.

Free Batch Photo Resizer is VERY easy. The program is initially called PhotoResize400.exe.

Step 1. Set the maximum width or height by changing '400' to the number of pixels you want.
Step 2. Drop your files on the program file.
Step 3. Done!

Of course there are advanced features, but this is simple, right?!

[1] For my photo page I use JAlbum to create the webpages. You need a direct link to a subalbum to see an example. I used some here before so go and find :)

As I bought a new SD card I now use 2048x1536** and I can almost make the same amount of pictures. And 2048x1536*** with the same amount of pictures on both cards together.
